Handmade glass and ceramic beads in two colours are arranged in a rhythmic composition. The gold-plated brass chain and hook balance the piece.
Material
Gold plate, Glass, Ceramic.
Gold plate: Brass allows for bigger and lighter pieces which are dipped into 18-carat gold, with a 2-micron thickness, for the desired golden feeling.
Glass: Murano glass is shaped in the flame, piece by piece, allowing heat to guide the form. Variations in temperature affect the density of the glass, creating subtle shifts in colour and surface that make each piece unique.
Ceramic: All the ceramic pieces are designed by Helena and hand made by a local ceramicist. The glaze is hand applied, accounting for individual, tiny differences that enrich the pieces.
