Helena Rohner was commissioned to create the trophy that will be presented to the winners at the gala. This handcrafted sculpture is inspired by the movement of fabrics and by the hats and headdresses of Cristóbal Balenciaga, one of the designer’s distinctive hallmarks. In particular, it draws from one of his iconic bridal headdresses.
Each of the ten pieces is made of ceramic, coated with a layer of liquid quartz for protection, and set on a Spanish walnut base. The winners’ names will be hand-engraved on a brass plate.
