This porcelain and gold artifact is the result of a collaboration with Marre Moerel. In an age of constantly interrupted communication, we wanted to reflect on the difference between hearing and listening — the latter involving a deeper, more attentive reception.

Our intention was to develop an analog device for active listening: a simple object that fosters genuine dialogue between two people.

Its shape is inspired by the original ear horn, which, much like eyeglasses, does not conceal our imperfections but instead highlights and dignifies them, becoming a beautiful jewel — an extension of the body through which we can connect and empathize with others.
